AI Inaugural Draft Pick- Seems Like a Bug

So I did challenge mode where certain things are locked, to make the game tougher, and checked "inaugural player draft" with random players from all eras.

There were probably 20 guys who were 5 star potential and overall ... but for some reason the AI was picking guys who were 2 stars in the first round.

I thought maybe this was due to my team's scouting accuracy, but the names of the guys I was picking were by far better than what the AI picked. I clicked on "projections for the season" and it has my team by far the best team projected via record, so it must not have been my scouting being inaccurate.

Since it was challenge mode, the AI settings on valuing players were set to default: 30/50/15/5

Needless to say I ended up with a totally stacked team....didn't seem like the AI was very smart. Kind of makes the whole fantasy draft thing with "all historical players" irrelevant.

Unless I am doing something wrong?

I have "overall ratings based on all players" (not position) and "all player ratings are displayed relative to Major League Baseball."

Then you have a better chance to win World Series.

Well duh... But if I wanted to do that I'd just manually stack my team.

The reason for the inaugural/fantasy draft is to try to make it an even playing field. With this bug there's no way to do that.
