As an alternative to FOF, I would love to play BBCF but the crash bug is so frustrating! Can anyone try and fix it or Jim if you see than can you revisit it?

BBCF is an old game that Jim has nothing to do with it.

I play pretty often and rarely crashes, just make sure you save after every game.

BBCF has been very stable for me as well. I'd recommend it.

same here, have the steam version and have zero crashes on windows 10

I am still playing the Steam version and it is solid. No crashing issues.

Also, there is an updated set of files for it at Greyhound Software that attempts to structure it as close to 2020 as it can. Game code constraints make it impossible to get everything right. I downloaded it and started an new game and haven't gone through all the changes yet but am hopeful it will add to the immersion, some.
