Entry Level Contract Issue
I'm having an issue signing formerly NCAA players on entry-level deals where they player is asking for more than an allowable amount.
For example I will make an initial offer of the max 924,999 and they will come back asking for 1,017,500 which the game doesn't allow you to match. Last edited by DANinWEHA; 06-01-2020 at 09:35 PM. |

Can you upload the save (upload instructions here) and I'll try to see why that's happening? We've had issues in the past with NHL ELC's for players leaving the KHL, but I can't remember it happening with college players.

Definitely something odd going on with the contract offers there. But which players are you seeing the over-the-limit contract request from? I was able to sign your unsigned college draftees and a few other free agents who just finished college without getting that kind of demand.

I had the most recent issue with Victor Gauthier. He is in my FA center because I have already offered him a contract.
It would be a Free Agent signing not someone from my own draftees. |

Ah, I see it now. He's also coming off a late-season AHL tryout contract, so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it, we'll investigate.
