noob - can you alter injury length?

I'm playing with the Orioles (please don't make fun of me) and I cant figure out how to get Trey Mancini on the permanent DL due to his cancer surgery - AI making me activate him. Help?

You can go into the injury file, I think it is listed under "dataa", and change it or omit some injuries. It would be best to save a copy since every time you update the game it changes the injury file back.

Go to Mancini's player page
Edit player tab
Create the injury and length that you want.

Are you in the offseason? You don't keep players on the IL in the offseason. If they're on the 40-man roster you will have to move them to the active roster, and put them back on the IL if they're still injured next season.
