Question about the license and PC's

I understand the game license lets you play it on up to two devices. The Notebook PC I was playing the game on crashed and I was able to get into my game loaded on my desktop PC with the license key. However, I am now getting a new Notebook and wanted to know what to do since I can't get into the crashed Notebook to remove the license key from it. Do I have to remove the one from my Desktop PC, because I am afraid of losing my game. I was hoping to be able to access it from my new Notebook and from the desktop.
Did I explain that correctly?

We can reset the license for you if you open a support ticket (or email support@ootpdevelopments.com) and give us your serial number or order reference number.
