2020 Live Cards

When the 2020 season ends, what happens to the 2020 live cards? I know their stats will change during the season, but afterward to they lock in at their final rating and become Non live? Do they become the 2021 live card? I am new to the game and do not see many, if any, 2019 cards so I assume something must happen.

The 2020 cards will be frozen with their final ratings from the season. The 2021 game will use projections for Live cards, not 2020 stats.

Oh ok. Since I did not see many 2019 cards I thought the cards might just disappear so I did not want to invest too much into them.

They won't carry over to next year's game, if that's what you are thinking.

Okay, I see now that PT21 universe persists but PT22 will be a fresh start. Hopefully people do both. I have no problem building a team again but I quite like the one I have.
