Change HS/JUCO Player Commit School

I am not totally sure if this is the correct sub-forum category for this question, but here goes.

I coded my own recruiting system for college baseball with Python and have been using this method off the game to simulate recruiting players (its a pretty makeshift system but it has some simulation feel to it lol). The only "pain" is I can't for the life of me figure out how to get into database files or whatever I need to pull from the game to change a player's commit school. I'd rather just change it by exporting and importing a file.

Currently I just wait until the end of the Draft Signing Period, then if they join whatever team the game has them committed to, I just release them from the team and have them "sign" with whatever school my recruiting engine has them committing to. This way they're next draft class is recalculated by the game (if they were committed to a JUCO and I just change their team without releasing them, they are still available for the next draft even if I put them on a 4-year school and change their HS/CO status)

Anyway, does anyone know how to change a player's commit school??

The game isn't designed to do this well slash at all, because it doesn't know what a commit is, really. It just assigns players to a team and so your workaround is likely to be the best way to do it because the game isn't mature enough to figure this out since it's not a "recruiting system" in the traditional sense.
