After messing around with FHM6 for a few months and reading some reports on here, i decided i wanted to try one and take the LA kings after how they finished in real life and try to bring them back into contention in the next few years.

The LA Kings head into the 2019-2020 season with a new GM and head coach, the new Gary Tollman. After the disappointing season 2018-2019 season the Kings owners were ready for the team to go into a new direction and decided a new GM was the best way for it.
The King’s are heading into the preseason with there team looking mostly the same, with returning captain Anze Kopitar looking to have a bounce back season and top 60 points this year. Ilya Kovalchuk did not have the effect they were hoping for last season scoring only 16 goals, which was third on the team.
Heading into preseason Kopitar will be centering Ilya Kovalchuk and power forward Dustin brown. Rookie Carl Grundstrom Will be starting the preseason in the NHL due to an injury to Gabe Vilardi, who will miss the next 2-3 months according to team doctors with an upper body injury,
defencemen Bjornfot who will be looking to earn a roster spot in training camp this season and make hist NHL debut.
Rumors are currently spreading around the league of Center Jeff Carter being shopped around the league, the management of the king’s have refused to comment on this as the kings finish their training camp. Tyler Toffoli had a particularly good camp and looked to have improved this summer.
The kings play there first game of the preseason in 2 days against the Washington Capitals before playing the Winnipeg jets and then the Capitals again.

Nikolai Prokhorkin will make his NHL debut this season in the LA Kings home opener after assistant captain Jeff Carter would go down with a lower body injury during preseason, currently listed as week to week. Three players on the Kings roster will be making their debut against the Edmonton Oilers for the first game of the season.
Preseason wouldn’t not go the way the kings wanted as they would only win a single game, Kyle Clifford would put in the best effort all preseason on the fourth line, scoring six points in 7 games, Jonathon Quick will return as the start again this year and be backstopped by Jack Campbell

The plan for him to play Wing or stay Centre?
