Well-Reputed SIMBL Has Rare Openings, In 50th Season

Hey Guys,

We in the SIMBL have been playing since real-life date September 2, 2006 and have passed our 14th real-life year anniversary as a league. We are one of the longest-tenured OOTP leagues online operating through thick and thin since 9/2/2006. We are also entering our 50th Season Anniversary and have two rare openings entering our 50th off-season week. Two GMs had to step down due to time restraints including one rebuild team with the #1-#2 pick upcoming in our next draft upon Opening Day and the other has been a postseason team for the past two seasons.

Our most recent convert was from OOTP 18 to OOTP 20 after all of OOTP bugs are fixed and final patches released. We as a league convert every other version of OOTP so the next conversion update for our league will be OOTP 22, then OOTP 24, OOTP 26, etc...

We are a laid back league with not much forum banter but use Slack daily which we talk about SIMs, the league and current world events off and on and our SIMs are live day by day in real-time on Slack and via StatsPlus Live SIM utility and have a long-standing great core of guys who among the best online and have been with us for several years or have rejoined us after breaks as well with some guys have been in the league over a real-life decade now.. We have a high export rate and all that is asked of our GMs is to keep a regular view of their team and league and export occasionally and to vote on our mandatory-needed league votes. Each GM gets a OOTP automated email and a SIM Summary from the league commissioner summing up each SIM after each SIM is completed and everything on the SIMBL Front Page (standings, stat leaders, utilities) are updated about an hour after each SIM and after the newest file has been updated immediately upon the completion of that night's SIM.

We usually have a long waiting list but since it's been so long that we've had a couple openings we are again using the forum to allow hardcore OOTPers a chance to join us for some fun.

We are enjoying our 50th season anniversary of history and are a fictional player and fictional team league where you'll get to relocate and name your new team if you fulfill the season requirements. We have an abundance of player and league history and an active SIMBL Front Page which is updated after each SIM and each major news. If you enjoy league history, a stable core of veteran OOTP GMs who have been in the league for several years each and an interactive front page this is the league for you.

We run SIMs 3 times a week, 7 days simulated at a time on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Every otther night in the off-season to Opening Day.

We started with the 2005 season and are currently in the 2054 off-season with our first free agency SIM coming up on Monday night.

We run live SIMs utilizing Dave Krause's awesome StatsPlus app via Slack and also utilize Getch's awesome and always reliable OOTP Online Utilities and Frank's awesome and legendary StatsLab. All three are updated every SIM to give our league a plethora of statistical geekdom to enjoy. (We will update Frank's shortly to his current version).

Most of our GMs have been with us or rejoined after hiatuses for a decade or more and the others several years. We have a great bunch of some of the most savvy GMs in the OOTP online universe and we are one of the longest-running active OOTP leagues online founded on real-life date September 2, 2006. We are an export-driven league with no writing required but encouraged and the only rules are to not miss 10 consecutive exports then we check on your intents and not to miss any of the mandatory events and votes: Opening Day 25-Man Rosters, All-Stars, Hall Of Fame, End Of Season SIMBL GM Awards and any league vote needed to be voted on. We have a bunch of older more stable and committed guys and the league runs efficiently with SIMs on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights.

If you're looking for a laid back league but very competitive with some of the most savvy OOTP GMs online and can have fun with us winning or rebuilding you'll be welcomed with open arms into the SIMBL asylum with us. We convert every other even numbered OOTP release after the final patch has been released and are using OOTP 20 currently and will convert to OOTP 22 when it's released and finalized patched. We use Slack as well and have the SIMBL Slack Room to do most of our communicating and each SIM is shown in real-time game-by-game via Slack and StatsPlus by the awesome Dave Krause and we use the awesome StatsLab and OOTP Online Utilities for over a decade now developed and supported by the awesome Frank Esselink and Greg Getchell respectively. The SIMBL Front Page, league reports and utilities are updated current after every SIM and a SIM Summary is posted in Slack and send via league email to all SIMBL GMs breaking down each SIM and where the league is at every SIM along with the usual OOTP ingame emails as well.

Instead of going through retreads, the waiting list and kids we have decided to give the OOTP forum a chance to find the right GM and persona to compete along with us and have some fun. We just started our 50th Anniversary Season and the Miami Sharks are an up and coming loaded with young talent franchise and have some valuable trading pieces in extra top prospects that might not take over the current young starters in front of them to use as valuable bargaining chips to land some studs that will lead to a championship. Very laid back but competitive league where the fictional players are covered and almost become real-life personas to the league after time.
