Trainer Skill discussion - And coaching skills

I am trying to determine if ONLY the Trainer Skill rating applies to factoring how effective a team trainer will be in FHM6. For example in the attached photo my current trainer has a trainer skill of 16, and many other positives in other areas of ratings. But the example listed below my trainer has a Trainer Skill of 19 but is essentially useless in other skills. Does the trainer with a 16 training skill but other skills give him added value or is that ignored in game? Making the Trainer with a Trainer Skill of 19 the better value for that position? Any help is greatly appreciated.
And also if someone replying knows for certain how skills outside of the main duties of their coaching position factor in or don't that is also appreciated. For example is it good to have a Skill Coach who knows tactics or is that just unneeded ratings.
