Hi.
Do scouts and coaches ever change their attributes?
I think not but want to make sure.

I want to add a team having "Jr" in the team name but the corresponding logo (named for example buffalo_jr_sabres) does not show up. What must I do?

Edit: I figured it out. The logo name had two spaces between Jr and Sabres. I removed one and it worked.

Hi,
I'm playing in historical mode in 1983. How do you make a qualifying offer to a player? Is the button Autoqualify:ON is the way? I'm always giving normal contract to player and my payroll is pretty high right now. Thank you!

To qualify, just submit the offer. If they sign it though, there's not much you can do besides trading them.

When do players retire?

When do players retire in a custom league? Is it always on June 30th to July 1st, or can they retire in-season?

They will always retire at the database turnover, which is that time period.

No, unless you're noticing a gap somewhere.

How do I make it so I can play or watch every game? Have played one, then when it's over, all the other games have already been played...

How do I avoid that?

Thanks
Swede

Go to the league schedule screen, and use the View option to see any of the other games (or Play for your own team.) That won't play the other games after yours is done, only using the Continue button will.

Players as GM's

In the early years of the NHL some players are also the GM's of their respective teams. e.g Art Ross, Newsy Lalonde. Playing as Toronto in 1917-18, I was able to trade for Ross, but he also continued to carry on as GM for the Montreal Wanderers.

It might make more sense if these players were untradeable, or perhaps they could at least resign as GM once they have agreed to trade themselves to a rival team ?

Can you have fictional players in a historical game?

Injury Counter

Is there any way to turn this off, or set it to zero?

Is this counter an 'in game' feature, or are there leagues where you are actively forbidden from returning a healthy player to your roster for x days??

It quickly becomes tedious when you have to continuously shuffle your lineup for every minor injury, the player miraculously recovers after a couple of days , but you can't use him for a week...

Do you mean putting someone on injured reserve? I'm not sure what exactly you're referring to here. If you use the line charts anyways, it will automatically move players if they're injured.

It works like the NHL Injured Reserve List, where the minimum duration is 7 days. Generally, it should only be used if the duration is definitely going to be longer than that, or if you're in a situation with multiple shorter-term injuries that force you to call someone up while your roster is already full.

Played a lot of OOTP Baseball but not Hockey. Does the Hockey game have all of the NHL seasons like OOTP Baseball does? Does it have all of the type of features like OOTP Baseball? Thanks.
