Lack of Trade Offers?

I'm not sure if it's just me - but after playing several different games in FHM7, I have yet to receive an unsolicited trade offer from another team. Probably have played a combined 50 seasons between the 3 games, and never once a trade offer, unless I've used the 'Shop Player' function.

Is this normal?

Have you put anyone up on the Trade Block? If not, offers are rare.

Are they too rare though?? I would imagine straight up trade offers for those not on the bloxk or being offered are presented to teams far more frequently in real life than in the game currently. I would expect at least one or two a season.

I doubt it. Most GMs talk frequently and of you're not saying you're looking to deal, you're not going to get approached with offers.

So you don't think GM's will enquire about the potential availability of a player who isn't on the trade block?

I think this absolutely happens throughout the season.

As we don't have an 'Enquire about player' option, teams can only express interest via a direct trade offer. For me, that should mean this needs to happen (a lot) more frequently.

I had previously not had players on the trade block - but now have played a season and a half of trying a variety of players on the block for the entire season (players of various cap hits, ratings, contract lengths) and still have yet to receive a trade offer.

What league are you in?

You haven't received one? That seems highly unlikely. Is your Assistant responding to requests? I've personally never seen a game where you receive no offers for a player. If that's the case, I think we need to see your save.
