Asset management
I'm currently playing as Minnesota and i have a lot of elite prospects (3 5star potential and 1 4.5), all of them are centres. And i traded Dumba for a 5star pot RD from NY, but he seems to be a bust coz he;s 22 and 1.5 ability.
![]() And we were losing for 3 straight years, so i kinda want to win and not to become 2nd Buffalo and always be in rebuild So what do? I currently don't have any CAP issues, but next year i have to pay 2 of them, and idk what to do. Do i train them to play wings? What do i do with current top6 forwards like Fiala and Kaprizov? Are there any guides or articles from NHL GMs or analists on asset management or IRL trade logic and how to flip those prospects, what value should a GM recieve for top6, top9, bottom 6 forwards etc. thank you |

I would say just from looking at that list, you need to balance out your roster with some experienced players. Might help get the best out of the talent you have there.
