A trio of minor bugs

Still getting entry level players requesting more than the entry level limit. I had a league where the ELC limit was set to $612,000, and I wound up with a player who requested $650,000 per year. Small difference, yes, but it did prevent me from offering a contract to the player.
In historical finances, expansion teams start with the right budgets. Original teams start with inflated budgets. Leads to the problem where one team has $7 million to spend on players but another has $80 million. Putting in a salary cap for one year solves the issue, but I shouldn't need to do that.
Players are requesting that their role on the team be "None" during contract negotiations when that option is not available. Leads to the annoying problem of having to guess what label the player wants, which holds up the negotiation. If I hit "Meet Demand" during contract talks, then the player should request things I can actually give him. A corollary to this problem is that, when I hit "Meet Demand", the proposed contract still returns the options of "Agitator" and "Fringe Prospect" which the player will reject at times, especially the latter option. If I hit "Meet Demand", this shouldn't happen, since the game should give me a contract the player will accept.

Do you have a save with examples of any/each of 1 and 3? It makes it a little easier to track down the things that don't happen consistently.

Historical budgets, I think I know what's going on there, it's likely related to the budget amount not being adjusted properly for the year, I'll do some checking.

The save is called Contract Bugs.rar. You should be set to a team that can sign a free agent. I just tried it, and I tried to sign 18-year-old free agent Abram Aleshker to a deal. He demanded $650,000 when the max is $612,000.

I can't seem to reproduce the "None" issue but I'm still getting "Fringe Prospect" come up when I hit "Meet Demand", which shouldn't happen. If the "None" issue pops up again I'll let you know.

Another issue I noticed while testing the file is I have a contract limit of 35 yet almost every CPU team has more players signed than allowed. I don't know how that is possible.

Thanks. The contract numbers >35 are from players aged 19 and under on Entry-Level Contracts who are assigned to farm teams, those don't count against the contract limit.

I don't have farm teams. The teams also exceed the contract limit even when I don't play with ELCs.

Reserve list counts as a farm team, but now that I compare the 18/19-year-olds on those with the excess number of contracts, it's a close but not perfect match, so something's not quite right there, we'll take a closer look.
