QBA -- OOTP 21 League Eventually Moving to 22
Quarantine Baseball Association is an OOTP 21 Online League that started with base rosters. We are about to finish the 2025 season, and we plan on switching to OOTP 22 following the 2026 season. Unfortunately, we took quite a bloodbath after this season and lost 5 league members. We are a very relaxed league with a fun atmosphere and would love to take in any interested members. I'll provide the open teams below along with my synopsis of their situation with a link to our Stats+ page at the bottom. If you're interested, please PM me.
CINCINNATI REDS The Reds will easily win the NL Central in 2025, as they're 91-58 with two weeks left to play, 10 1/2 in front of the second place Cardinals. Not only are they already a good team, they also have the 2nd ranked farm system in the league. Their payroll is 25th, and they have clean books with plenty of money to spend and supplement the roster. All-in-all, this is a pretty great situation to walk into. MIAMI MARLINS The previous GM was aggressive, building two 90 win teams since we started the league...unfortunately, neither of those 90 win seasons resulted in a playoff berth, and they're now reaping the consequences of those aggressive moves. Their budget is tapped out and the fans are still uninterested. There is one albatross of a contract, but their books are clean otherwise. Their farm system ranks 16th out of 30. NEW YORK METS The Mets have been a mess for the entirety of this league, only finishing above .500 once. They have a bloated payroll and poor farm system (ranked 25th). A new GM would be staring down the barrel of a rebuild. TORONTO BLUE JAYS Currently, the Blue Jays are 82-69 and 2 GB of the division lead with two weeks to play. They possess the brightest young star in the league, Bert Fisher, who has 53 homers as a second baseman and will win the AL ROTY this season. On top of being a good team, they have the 5th ranked farm system in the league. A new GM will face some payroll flexibility problems, but it isn't bad by any means, and the talented roster means there isn't much need for payroll flexibility anyways. This team is just a few tweaks away from being a monster. WASHINGTON NATIONALS The Washington Nationals are 83-66, 3 GB of the division leading Phillies, and in the driver's seat for the 2nd wild card position. They still boast Juan Soto, and probably have the most feared middle-of-the-order between him and Matt Olson, who has developed into a consistent 50-homer threat in this world. The new GM here will come in with TONS of payroll flexibility and the 9th ranked farm system. This is also a good situation to walk into. Here is the link to our Stats+...Again, please PM me if interested...Thanks! https://statsplus.net/qba/ |

I'd love to take the Jays GM job, but could you tell me more about the league rules, etc.?
