A bunch of historical issues.

I've numbered these for reference, they all pertain to extension of the save 'Olympics generating too many foreign players'.

1. HOF vote then nothing. The first HOF selection and vote occurs on 1st June 1945. There is a message with a list of the nominees, and the option for me to select another nominee if I want. I include another nominee and there is then a vote where I pick 4 players.
After that nothing happens - there is no run off vote and no subsequent HOF announcement. I'm now into following season 1945-46 and none of the nominees has been selected to the HOF. The HOF settings are set to match only 2 specified criteria and the list of nominees all meet those criteria, so all looks fine otherwise.

2. Contract negotiations when a player has changed position. There was a bug (now fixed) where players vanished from depth chart when their
position changed from e.g. defense to forward. When one of these players is offered a new contract the following happens:
If the offered role is offensive forward, there is a contradictory response message around major roles , to paraphrase exact wording:
'I don't want to be an offensive forward unless you offer significantly more money - I want to be an offensive forward'. If the role
is changed to a defensive one, the response is 'I want to be an offensive forward'. The player has to be moved back to his old
defence position and role before he will accept the offer.

3. Minimum age during WWII. The NHL relaxed the minimum age requirement during WWII , so for example in 1942-43 Bep Guidolin appears
as a 16 year-old under contract with the Bruins, and Ted Kennedy is 17 with the Canadiens. However FHM still has the minimum age in NHL
and minors set to 18. So these players cannot be moved up/down, and any other 17 year old free agents cannot be signed as they are
too young. I'm not sure how many seasons this applies to, but 1942-43 thru 1944-45 I'd guess.

4. Goalie not credited with tie - I don't have a specific example, but on a couple of occasions I've been simming a game and the AI has
pulled my starting goalie when losing heavily. The team has then recovered to salvage a tie, but the replacement goalie does not get
credited with the tie. In each case on the game review screen the goalie thumbnail picture (and shot totals) were blank.

5. Coaches records on game preview screen always shows ties as zero. For example if the Bruins record is 15-5-3 , the coaches record
shows as 15-5-0.

6. Unused players on game review screen. This only ever shows the visiting teams back-up goalie, the home team back-up never appears.
I've never seen any other players other than the back-up goalie appear here.

7. NHL roster size 1944-45 - it increases to 23 again just for this season, I think it should be 20.

8. NHL rights. When FHM assigns new players at the start of each season their NHL rights are set to 'None' rather than their specific
NHL teams. This eventually gets updated to the correct team if they move teams or are sent to/recalled from minors. However on some
occasions a player can be released and his NHL rights are still set to 'None', which means he becomes unsignable as a free agent.

Something's definitely broken with the HoF in historical, it seems to be inducting players, but not by the usual process, and the histories for those players are showing their actual real-life induction date for some reason, not the one that happens in-game.

I can't replicate the contract offer problem - if I change a player's position from e.g. RW to RD, and then attempt to negotiate, he's OK with a defenceman's major role being offered. Is there a specific player you're seeing this happen with?

I may take a look at changing the minimum age to 17 in 1942 to acc omodate Guidolin (who was actually in his 17-year-old season when he debuted, his birthday was in December) and Kennedy, but there are some potential complications with draft eligibility that I have to look at first.

I'll check the pulled goalie problem, sounds like pulling him is breaking something in the goalie stat tracking; we did fix an issue earlier with the goalie not returning to the net in those circumstances, so it may be related.

Coaching record on the game preview should be a simple fix, as should the incomplete unused player list.

I think I missed 44-45 when changing the roster limits to 20, fixed now.

Yeah, the rights aren't being set properly for players with the draft off, I think that may be due to some changes we made a while back to how they're assigned to the teams, we'll have a look at that.

Re the contract issue, I've only seen it when the player has switched from Defense to Forward. Dit Clapper and Babe Siebert were two examples.

Re issue 4 above.

I had another game which ended in a 0-0 tie. On the game review screen both goalie thumbnails and shot/save totals were blank, and neither goalie was credited with the tie or shutout. Neither goalie got pulled in this case.

I've had 0-0 ties previously without any issues, but probably prior to latest version update.
