Consensus vs Team Scouting
Many times I'll see a player which, for example, will show Consensus: Ability / Potential as 3.0/3.5 while my scouting might show 2.0/2.0
If your scouting is 20.0 in all regions, how much stock do you put in the Consensus numbers compared to your own scouting numbers? Just wondering. Thanks |

Believe your team. That's why you hired those Scouts.

I had the exact same question. So far to me it seems like scouting has gotten very hands off since the previous versions. In FHM7 I basically maxed all of the regions that I care about within the first week of starting my save. What else is there to do after?

It is generally too easy to get your scouting levels to 20/20 because there's not enough financial pressures on hiring staff. It would be better if reaching 20/20 in every region was extremely difficult.

From manual: "Note that it is impossible to raise the Scouting Coverage number above 20, so there's little point in adding more scouts in a region where your coverage is already maximized."

I wouldn’t trust either. I’ve brought in guys after a trade, only to have my scouts rate them incorrectly after the trade but had them correct when they were with the other team. Hover overs give you accurate averages.
