Could someone please tell me the maximum number of players allowed on Korean Future League Rosters?
Thank you in advance. |

The roster limit of KFL may be 37 (=65-28), but meaningless, and the answer you want is that it should be 50 (under the current system). Because ootp does not currently implement the KBO's military service system, the KFL needs at least a 70-person capacity to prevent the release of players who treat military service as an injury. As you know, if you set the roster limit to 'no limit', the AI will operate the capacity to less than 30 people according to their logic, so a 50-players limit is better than an unlimited setting.

https://www.koreabaseball.com/Future.../Register.aspx My recommandation : Make Residual group below the KFL. If there was reserve roster in KFL - like Indipendent league - It can be more realistic. |

Go to the rules area of the KFL league setting. Set it to 50....then go to the "stats & AI" section, and select however many batters and relief pitchers you want. Then go back to the rules section and select from 50 back to unlimited. Then go back to the stats and AI tab again, and you should see this: |

Does the military service "injuries" persist as you advance through the game/year? Or is this just something that's just done upon creation of the league?

As you know, ootp does not have a function to imitate the military service of Korean players. All military services Injuries are updated manually.

ok...so then why the need for such large future league rosters, when the number of players on military service will eventually dwindle down and not remain constant or increase?

Until the number of military service players will eventually dwindle, they (players on military service) should be at their own team, not FA. If we do not have plenty of rosters, many players on military services or other players could not be their team and be free agents immediately.

Registration and cancellation are implemented in both directions. (KFL to KBO(major level), KFL to Residual group) Meanwhile, there are upbringing player(in Korean 육성선수) -similar to a minor league player- not in Official Player List. these not-official players can play in KFL. But to exist KBO major level, they must be Official Player(정식 선수). If Official Player List is full, another player should be removed. (through the waiver) |

Ok, so if you guys could help me to understand Asian baseball a bit better. What are the number of players allowed on the active roster, and minor league rosters for all three leagues?
*** I think is 29 active and 70 total...so 41 in the minors. I think KBO is 28 active and 65 total....so 37 in the minors. I think CPBL is 26 but I have no idea how many total or how many in the minors Last edited by PSUColonel; 09-06-2021 at 03:27 AM. |
