Contract length negotiations

When i want to negotiate a new contract, i can tweak amount of Dollars.

But never ever was i successful, when i wanted to increase contract length. This offer is always declined.

Did you increase how much money you are paying them when you added years? Most of the time you're buying free agency years, so you're going to need to pay more for the entire contract if you want those. It is possible to sign someone for a longer deal, but you have to pay more.
