Player randomly assigned to junior team.

I am doing a junior league save file with the North Bay Battalion of the OHL and ran into a weird glitch. One of the players I have the rights to who was playing in Russia was randomly assigned to my team. The problem here is that I cannot sign him. His preference is Europe, and when I go to sign him, he says he does not want to play in a Major Junior League.

I can lapse his rights or even release him (only in his player profile), but I don't want to lapse his rights or release him, which would cost 80,000.

Can you upload that save (instructions here)? I'm not sure how he could've been assigned to you like that if he's still contracted to the Russian team.

Yeah there's nothing in the transaction log of the player that says he was released by the team or loaned out/signed by my team. The player in question is Rodion Tatarenko.

The rar file is called NorthBay

Odd, he's definitely been loaned by the KHL team to you, but that shouldn't be possible in the game. We'll try to figure out how that happened. In the meantime, easy enough to fix: just turn on commissioner mode and edit his team back to them (and remove his OHL rights, they're currently with you, so it can't happen again.)
