Junior Hockey / Draft Issues

There is something very odd going on in my custom fictional league that I am 20+ years into. I looked at the Future's List of players available in the upcoming draft and all of the players are well past junior's age, between 23 and 26 years old. Some have been playing in the minors for several season's, but have never been drafted in the majors. These players are not signable as free agents. I have noticed their rights are set to "none" for the major league and they are still listed as "free" for the junior leagues. Again, these players are from 23 to 26 years old. I'm not sure how many seasons this has been going on, but I believe it is fairly recent.

I have also noticed that many of the players in the last major league draft have only played 1 year or none of junior hockey. This must be related in some way.

It looks like the Futures List isn't properly assessing eligibility for the draft; the actual draft page (accessible via the bottom-right panel in the GM home screen) has the normal list of 17-18-year olds.

Something is definitely going wrong with the league rights for some undrafted players; they should be set to free if they pass through the draft, but a small minority aren't having that happen and their rights stay stuck on None, which prevents them from signing. We'll have to take a closer look and see if we can figure out why that's happening; I can't see much the affected players have in common - a lot were traded during their junior career, but some weren't, so I don't think that's it.

Thanks for the quick reply. Hope you can figure it out, because I would like to continue with this league by uploading to FHM8 when it comes out.
