Importing historical players directly to minors

Can anyone help me import a list of historical players into the minors directly. I created a list for the AAA Atlanta club but I cannot get it to import directly to the Richmond roster.
I have the csv file with LahmanID, year, TeamID but it doesn't work.
I can import them to the ML roster by using ATL.
I can import them to FA no problem.
I can even send them to the draft pool.

I just cannot get them to go directly to the minors.

If it's not already, try temporarily changing the Richmond abbreviation to something like RIC (all uppercase). I don't know why, but that has worked for me in the past.

What year are you trying to do this?

Richmond has not been the Atlanta AAA team for over 10 years. It is now the SF AA team. If you are trying to do this with a current league alignment, that could be your issue.
