Blackhawks '30 Historical Challenge - Award questions and defects(??)

Towards the end of the '31-32 season, I made a roster trash trade acquiring goalie Paul Goodman for Eddie Burke. My main purpose was to trigger the ROY award, as that claims to be awarded by successfully trading for an unhappy or very unhappy goalie.

Anyways, after acquiring the unhappy goalie, nothing happened. There was no award granted. Are there any extra qualifiers needed in order to earn the award? Does one have to acquire a goalie that actually starts for a season or two? Is this award eligible to be earned from within a historical challenge.

On that last question, I would also like to squeeze in a similar question without opening a whole new thread. As the Blackhawks have a boatload of prospects now, I am planning on playing out more seasons with this 'Historical Challenge' league, perhaps the original 11 season deadline or all the way to 1943 when the league transitions into the 'Original Six'. (The Red Wings finally are showing up in season 5 - '32-33).

There exists another award for managing a team for 10 seasons or more. Are leagues involved in 'Historical Challenges' eligible for this award?? Also, I play in GM-only mode, so are GM-only teams eligible for the 10 season award??

I think we may have adjusted the happiness amounts that define the various levels of happiness since we first made that achievement, Goodman's happiness number may have given him something other than unhappy status by the old definitions. If that's the case, we'll update the achievement.
