Expansion Draft

Hey there

I Have been playing a long franchise mode for over a year and had an unexpected hiccup. I signed off the game the other night just before I was to set my protected list for an upcoming expansion draft.

WhenI logged in today I did forget that and just simulated the day as it was the summer months not thinking I'd miss that window.

Now I find myself in the expansion draft and my entire team is exposed to the teams entering the league. Is there any way. I can fix this?

I've been playing this game for so long I'd hate to lose all my current stars and future prospects.

Did you set up the draft yourself? How many players can a team select from you? Or are you playing historical?

Regardless, hopefully you didn't shut off your Rolling Save.

So to use them -> start FHM > click on Settings > Troubleshooting > Open Customizable Data Folder > Saved_Games > Select your save and open it. Inside it should be two folders labelled RS_One and RS_Two. I'd probably grab the RS_Two one and copy its files back into the the main part. It'll set you back to your second last save.

You may also want to consider copying/backing up the save before you start doing this as well.

You've given me some hope. I mostly just play solo and some of the more advanced features I am less familiar with. I can see the files you are referring to. How do I "copy them into the main part"

(I obviously know how to copy and paste something but the file I see I am unsure where I should put it)

Copy all the files from the RS Folder, then paste them one step back, in just your main save game (like Expansion_draft.lg)

No. Like the file .lg of whatever your save name is. You're overwriting the files that are in the main part. You should see several folders at the top like graphics, import_export, rs_one, rs_two etc and DAT files at the bottom. The DATs are what you are overwritting with the things in the RS folders. (ie: allstartteams, arenas, central_scouting, etc).
