Couple More Things...

FHM 8, Steam, Windows 10, yadda yadda yadda...
  1. While playing a game in full view mode, at the end of the first period my opponents had 13 SOG to my team's 4, yet a pop-up shows up saying, "We're outshooting our opponent by a lot, but our forwards are still going back frequently to help the defence. Should we decrease the Backchecking tendency by one step?" Is this some new math the game is using, that "less is more"...?
  2. On quite a few occasions now, half my team has decided to do a line change after we get the puck in our offensive zone, which is THE worst time imaginable to do this. If an NHL head coach does this, he gets thrown to the curb, on his ear, while the game is still going on! Is this a result of a low "hockey sense" attribute or some such thing, or is there a configuration setting I can set to prevent line changes while in OZ?

I get similar notifications when it comes to hits...

Playing at a 'hit' level of plus one, the end of period message is something along the lines of: 'We're outhitting our opponent badly, should we play it safe and turn the hitting down by one step?'

Which would be fine except every time I check the box score hitting stats, I'm the one who's actually being outhit.

Same. I've lost track how many times my third forward decides to peel off for a change while the other two possess the puck in the attacking zone. Sometimes he'll even back out of the attacking zone to head for the bench.

If you've ever played hockey, you're taught to change while the puck is in the offensive zone

Quite right. But there is a difference between being somewhere in the OZ in general and having an odd man rush or a loose puck in the slot. I thought the OP meant during a quality scoring opportunity.
