Turn off the entry draft?

Hi there,

I've spent a while looking for this option and I'm not sure if it doesn't exist or if I can't find it. I'm looking for a way to try and turn off the entry draft so that rookies enter the league as free agents. Is this possible? I suppose I could just set everyone's rights to be free after they're drafted but would prefer a quicker way if possible. Would it work if I turned the draft age down so low that players would be too young to sign by the time their signing deadline comes up? Appreciate any help.

Pretty sure it can be disabled when you first setup a new custom game, but if not you can always go to:

League -> Edit

and adjust the draft settings there. (Can only be done on July the first).

I don't think it's possible to completely eliminate the drafts. Best I could do was get them down to 1 round

Yeah it doesn't appear to be possible. Would love to see this option added in a future version or update.

If you use commisioner mode, I suppose you could just have one round, then edit all the players picked to be free agents again.

Yeah, kind of what I was thinking.

It might be possible to add an option to remove the drafts, but that's going to involve working out some other complications with player rights - right now the draft needs to occur for the players to move from being unsignable to signable (even if they aren't drafted.)

That would be great to see if you are able to figure it out, totally understand if it's not doable though, I'll try changing players rights for the time being as a workaround
