Duplicate Players and Coaches

Hi All!

Been an OOTP player for years and really excited about the newest installment but every time I start a new save, most free agent players and coached have a duplicate. The two Conforto's and his fellow FAs will get signed to different teams and it makes the game unplayable. Anyone else having this issue or know of a possible fix?

I personally have only noticed this for coaches, but I also don't have OOTP 23 yet.

I've never seen this or seen someone mention it. Have you tried re-downloading and reinstalling v. 51?

I have a save where I had to add and delete the MLB several times while I worked out the right settings. I ended up with three of every retired player, and maybe coaches too (I haven't checked).

It sounds like a somewhat different problem than OP's, but it would be nice if there was an easy way to search for duplicate players/coaches, retired or not, in order to clean up any duplicates. Maybe even an auto-delete function.
