Player not getting a championship

Maybe the criteria for getting their name was different back in the day but in my 1988-1989, one of my players played 62 games and then got hurt missing the remainder of the season including the playoffs which we won.

I just now noticed this (I'm in the 95-96 season).

The criteria as I understand it (at least currently):

Played half the regular season, which would be 41 games, or
One game in the Stanley Cup Finals

Since he played in 62 regular season games, shouldn't he have a championship?

I think the criteria we're using right now is either one playoff game or on the active roster when the championship is won, I'll see if we can change that.

It would be great if it could check the injury reserve list (and if so, maybe a check on games play)

Guess Borque will have to settle for 8 championships instead of 9
