We are a fictional league taking place across the globe that began in 2100, currently about to hit the year 2103. Started as just a few friends wanting a little D&D baseball game going but we've slowly been adding randos. Grown from 5 to 15 GMs within a 40 team league. We have veto powers built in for AI trades. We also use participation points to purchase perks (rebranding, changing park factors, changing a prospect's personality, etc). League sims daily - four days during regular season and five to seven days during the off-season depending on where we are. Low injuries. This allows you to micromanage your team as much as you want or you can peace out for a sim or two without worrying about too many injuries screwing you up. Scouting and coaching are turned on, we began with 2001 modifiers but with steals/SP stamina/infield shifting turned up a bit. Ummmm what else... we use Discord for communication and I'll stream some playoff games on Twitch. We also have a few regional leagues to sign players and coaches away from, and want to try some version of the World Baseball Classic every four years. League is pretty chaotic with wildcard, divisional, and league championship series all being 7 games. Four division winners and four wildcards. And since the league is still in its infancy stage, it shouldn't be too hard to turn your team around quickly and build a nice foundation for the future. Someone who joined last year went from 50 to 85 wins!
Oh and we are likely switching over to 23 during the All-Star break when it (presumably) will go on sale.
