For FHM 9

In the NHL for 88 years (1917-18 to 2004-05), in the regular season an overtime loss was a loss to the teams and goalies record (W-L-T), starting in 2005-06 the NHL eliminated ties and started giving 1 point to the overtime loser (W-L-OT). So the teams and goalies stats should be 4 columns (W-L-T-OT) to be faithful to the history of the National Hockey League. For resuming a loss that gives 0 point is a loss (L) and a loss that gives 1 point is an overtime loss (OT) and there is no overtime loss in the playoffs (OT) there are only losses (L). Hopefully this aspect of the game will be corrected for the enjoyment of the players in history mode.

Still for the players of historical leagues the possibility to reduce the number of dressed players to 12 as in the beginning of the National Hockey League.

Not to mention the PCHA playing 7-man hockey until 1923....

In the classic game or 2D simulation, a button that would allow us, to define the time of intermissions between periods, so that the game does not stop before the end of the match.

To be able to modify the list of cities and countries, in the course of the history of the cities and countries we change names, to be able to be faithful to the history as in OOTP does it.

A few remarks about historical play:
- Waivers already active between 1917-1940s.
- PCHA/WCHL/WHL teams don't have minor squads associated. Players get sent to a reserve list, so they don't get any games played.
- AI teams only claim RFAs in later rounds in expansion drafts.

It would be great to have the historical transactions.

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree with this. Right now I'm doing them all myself manually, (which is quite time-consuming), so if historical trades could be incorporated in a future version - I'd be very happy!

rarely post but for someone that enjoys OOTP as much as I do, the contracts and trade logic need to make serious leaps for FHM 9. They really do. It seems impossible to make solid trades for players at the deadline. The worst is if you are a seller, say selling a 4-star Chris Kreider or someone that is lighting it up. Most teams would be interested in that in real life. However, in the game, you get the third round pick offers. That's ridiculous.

Are you shopping him or putting him on the trade block? Shopping always gets lower offers whereas the block gets better value.

to be able to create playable leagues, would allow us to use players from the database, instead of putting them in non-playable leagues. eliminating non-playable leagues would be a good idea, it doesn't bring anything to the game, at worst being able to put them on a protection list without playing would be an alternative
