Hey!
Currently have a thing going on where Perfect Team is just doing everything incredibly slooooow for me. At first I thought this was just logging in and out, But now I think it is also effecting my ability to download the next days simulated results. Everything just seems wonky right now. I can't even check out my transaction history either. I asked about it on the discord, and Dish (super quick and always helpful!) told me it was a problem that tended to happen if you left the client open for long periods. Which I did do overnight last night. Gave the computer a reboot, but nothing really seems to have changed. Logging in/out can take up to 30 seconds, but at worst it can take over a minute. And I feel like I actually have to log out just to get results for the next day of PT Results. Even weirder - this doesn't seem to just be related to my Steam client of the game. It's also doing this on my OOTP Go. I thought it might have to do with my internet for a bit - but I have a roommate with an account of his own and he's experiencing none of these problems. Same steam client. Same wifi. It's just all me. Just a note, I tried uninstalling/reinstalling on Steam as well, didn't seem to fix the problem either. All in all - the base game seems to work just as usual. It's just PT that is giving me trouble. Any chance I can get a little more extensive help? Many thanks. Same problem
I'm having the same problem.
I can not even log on to my PT all day and night because it is taking too long. |

Spectrum has been having massive issues the last two days. Might be on the ISP side.

I don't think it's that if only because my roommate who has his own account doesn't have this issue at all. Also we don't have Spectrum.

OK the game now has been basically unplayable for me for over a week. My internet is top of the line 1ghz Verizon Fios plus i'm hard wired in. Everything works fine except this game. I reinstalled Steam and Reinstalled the game and still have the same problem. WTF? I bought this game every year since it's first release and this is the first year I regret buying it. So many PT cards not in the deck this year. Can't earn Cards from playing single player mode which is a total downgrade from other years. WTF???????????????????????
Most likely the last year I'm ever buying this game. Going to just stick with Action PC baseball which has TRUE head to head online matchups. OOTP has better single player but I rarely play that anymore since you cant earn cards. This years version is the first time the game has ever been a downgrade in my opinion. A MAJOR DOWNGRADE AT THAT. BTW the same problem is logging in and out and submitting the team. Takes up to 15 minutes if it works at all. Takes like 10 minutes sometimes to even officially log out. Just in case it helps. I had a crippling slowdown in PT once, and I was surprised to find that it was down to requiring a GPU driver update.

Thanks Tinkerman but this does not have anything to do with a GPU update.
Game is now unplayable for me. My team finally started looking good to compete with the best players. This sucks. Wish you and your team well. I'm moving on to other games. Not even a response from a single developer. |
