MacOS Ventura fix for Steam live

Hey folks,

we have just launched a quick fix for MacOS Ventura Steam users, which eliminates the issue of OOTP 23 not starting up. Your Steam client should automatically update your copy, but if it does not, please restart it, that will trigger the update.

Markus, just confirming what I suspect (hope) to be true, that we Mac OS users who purchased directly don’t have to worry about this issue, if we upgrade to Ventura? Thanks.

Yes, it seems to be a Steam only issue.

I've just updated to Ventura and have the latest update on Steam but it's still not recognizing OOTP 23 and saying “OOTP Baseball 23.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

Have you tried verifying the integrity of the files via Steam? You may be missing an important file.

I ended up having to send the OOTP23.app to the trash bin and then putting it back. The file is now in my applications folder and is working fine.
