The game is historically wrecked IMHO

I fully understand why the Indians nickname might be offensive to some Indians, but why scratch history as it hasn't existed ??

Playing a historical save you should then not have the Negro Leagues either but permitting those players to play inside MLB.

It's some sad history now and then but we can't scratch it only to in 100 years forgtten the case and as all history repeat it.

This is for sure totally idiotic and ruins this game.
How many Indians play the game ?

You Americans have gone too far with this crap, tearing down statues from the Civil War changing names and what nots. When will someone in the future demands 1776 monuments to be tear down for one or other reason.

I sure as hell don't like to play in 1980s with Guardians in Cleveland.
Bloody silly and a crazy move perhaps by this new owners.
I knew they somehow should screw this game up when Markus sold it to them.

Who force you to use the name Guardians? Seriously I'm a guy on the right side politically speaking but whining about this is ridiculous... just go in the team setting page and change the nickname, sound easy to me.

The Centenials show up forever in the game and you don't hear me cry about it...

Edit: Nothing to do with the South Korean company who owns OOTP... the game is licenced by the MLB if they say jump you must jump, this is how licence works.

I mean, on the first post this is worse than the all time HR leader thread which was locked ever was. (Opinion: It should not have been locked just because Cobra Mgr showed up.)

I oppose locking and prefer it being moved to the flamefest forum. A flamefest is obviously what the OP is looking for and I'm sure there are others who would like to participate. (I might even show up!)

Wow! Why did the HR leader thread get locked? Didn't even realize that happened. I just figured folks moved on to other discussions.

I didn't see any posts bad enough to lock it. Maybe there was one that got deleted.

I suspect Cobra Mgr is involved. He gets angry and if his statements are true has lots of people on ignore. Plus he's very strong willed. It takes a lot to be an Immaculate Reception denier.

I'm not reporting it. I got a slap for reporting spam (the board doesn't have a rule against it; I thought anti spam was a given on every message board) and I'm not going there again.
