Started a game in 1975 was going to sim the first year and take over the Cleveland Barons when they entered in 76 so was keeping an eye on the trade news to see if the Seals did anything.

Made it to the Trade Deadline and just a few minor moves nothing special sim passed the deadline and start scrolling through the news and see

Seals trade a 4th round pick to Chicago for 26 year old Dick Redmond

then Seals trade a 5th round pick to Chicago for 27 year old Bobby Sheehan

a little further Seals trade a 3rd round pick to Vancouver for 26 year old Bob Girard

keep scrolling Seals trade a 2nd round pick to Chicago for 27 year old John Marks

Lol ok that's just crazy but at least they kept their first right nope top of the page

Seals trade 1rst round pick to Vancouver for 27 year old Ab Demarco.

and yes this Seals team was not going to make the Playoffs and now I get to take over the Barons with no picks in the first Five Rounds What The

Sorry don't have pictures but Kyle Dubas was fired as Toronto GM so I was surprised one month or so later in the season when Toronto announced Kyle Dubas as its new GM.

My funniest issue was Elias Pettersson demanding a $12,000,000.00 salary after achieving a career-high of 73 points. So, I traded him for Charlie McAvoy and a 2nd rounder from Boston. They were able to sign Petey for 7 million AAV, and I have 20 in negotiating. I think it's safe to just tank negotiating and put the points elsewhere.

Player literally robbed.

"Tomas Zizka's home has been robbed, the defenceman told media.

'They took pretty much everything, completely cased the place,' said the 24-year-old grimly. 'I'm not sure if it was someone who knew I was a pro hockey player or just a random thing, but if feels terrible either way.'

Thankfully, Zizka said, his family wasn't home during the incident.

'We can replace posessions, but no one was hurt, that's the main thing.'

Moritz Seider said morale around the locker room is low, but they are trying to band together to help Zizka through the situation. 'We're all bummed out, but happy he's OK and hopefully they can catch the guy who did this,' he said."

All i did was change Lidstrom aging rate to 24, and traded him away at age 38, but even for him this might be a tad too much

Just thought this was kind of funny how it panned out

So I started a career with the Colorado Rockies in 76 and just finished the 78-79 season which was abysmal which is crazy because I really didn't try to tank.

Anyway went through the draft and obviously got Wayne Gretzky 1rst overall, but decided to look at the possibility of Gretzky pulling a Lindros and if a team in 79-80 would have similar pieces to that insane trade.

There was one the Atlanta Flames soon to be the Calgary Flames which is already odd to think of Gretzky in a Flames Jersey.

Ron Hextall = Dan Bouchard
Steve Duschesne = Al Sims
Mike Ricci = Ryan Walter (11th ovr in 78)
Two 1rst's
and the funniest
Peter Forsberg would equal Mark Messier drafted 5th overall in 1979 lol

obviously would have to force trade this but kind of has me kicking the tires try and build a dynasty in Colorado with Gretzky or Lindros it 12 years before that was a thing
