Perfect Team for FHM?

I remember asking this a few years ago when it launched in OOTP and was told it's being considered for FHM but that there weren't immediate plans. Sounds like the idea was to see how well it worked in baseball, make some tweaks and then roll out for hockey. Since then I've seen nothing, and my Google-Fu turns up nothing.

Is this a licensing issue, a technical issue or has it just been determined it doesn't make sense to roll out?

Doesn't seem to be any interest from com2us in doing it, and the costs involved with the licensing and technical needs would be an insane risk for us to take even if we had the cash to spare and the capability to do it on our own.

Here's the shorter answer;

Did you collect cards as a kid (or maybe as an adult)?

Imagine building a personal, customized team using those cards. The player on your team is that card, with those abilities from essentially that year. So if you have a Rookie Wayne Gretzky, he's going to play like Rookie Gretzky. If you have 50 year old Gordie Howe? He's going to play like that. You "rip" packs to gain more cards, or trade them with others to gain more currency to rip more cards or buy specific ones. You can only build your team with the cards you have though.

That's the long and short of it.
