The St Louis Cardinals traded 2B Harry Arndt to the Boston Americans for SS Heinie Wagner.

The Boston Americans signed free agents RFs Ollie Pickering and Jimmy Sebring, CF Denny W Sullivan, 1B John Ganzel and SP Weldon Henley each to a minor league contract.

The Boston Beaneaters signed free agents SPs Kaiser Wilhelm and Patsy Flaherty, 1B Bob Unglaub, CF Lefty Davis, RF Izzy Hoffman and RP Harry Ables each to a minor league contract.
