League Type: Standard with Realistic MLB Rosters started with Modern 2015 Opening Day roster set.
Ratings: 1 to 20 with both overall and potential star ratings
Coaches & Scouts: We do NOT have Coaches or Scouting turned on.
# of Teams: 32 (We expanded to Ottawa and Charlotte after the 2035 season. We have 4-team divisions in each league now with 16 playoff teams.)
First Season: We have been using a new file set after 30+ seasons since OOTP5
Latest Season: We have just started the 2039 Season.

Special Rules & Settings: Great Incentives program, Player Contract Rules and a marginal Cost Per Win Incentive Plan to encourage teams to compete with smaller payrolls. Our league settings can be viewed online here. Please view our FAQ's Page if you have any more questions.
Important note before applying: TheShow has a VERY strong core of VERY experienced GMs. This league is not suited for inexperienced or new online league members.

As someone that's been in this league for years, I'm happy to vouch for it. We've got a large group of GMs that have been playing together for quite a while, and the Red Sox are a solid team. It's sad that they're vacant, but they were run by a solid GM for many seasons (several real-world years) and are ready to compete from day 1!

Giants are our only vacancy. They are a great team that is currently in 1st place in a VERY tough division. They have been on a roll over the last few seasons winning back-to-back titles in '35 and '36 and getting to the LDS in '37.
