My impressions and questions on the preview.

First this preview is much better than last years.

Names and numbers on jerseys, nice! I assume these will work with mod jerseys that have a blank back? Contreras has the swoosh on his pants. Nobody in stirrups in the video and batting helmets appear to be unchanged. Looks like shoe colors are in.
Some nice immersion and quality of life additions.

The way the camera is moving around the stadium in the preview video. Will we have the same free moving camera to play with while playing out a game?

I assume there is also ball direction on-field graphic for outfield as well as the infield one show?

Anxious to see how the new financials, and other mentioned features are expanded on during the road to release.

The one screen they had of options that can be added to views, I think, had no changes. But it was only the default first screen. Hopefully there are new additions on the other tabs for both players (what they showed), and the team sortable stat views.

Some other things I see when pausing the preview..

"Edit Finances" tab, on the Front Office page
"
Offer History" on the player's contract page.

"Historical Simulation Accuracy" tab is shown on the 2023 season. Does this mean this feature can be used for any league to see how your present league is performing compared to your current LT's and LTM's?

The new crowds seem to have fixed the "tunnel issues" in the stadiums.

I'm just finishing up my latest season in v23. With new financials I think I'll be waiting for v24 to do a fresh import before moving on. That's about 5 weeks without OOTP

I found this funny, as in humorous. Must be Harry Doyle on the call.

Ditto. The historical stadiums has made OOTP sooooooo much more enjoyable for my historical sims, it's insane. All the love here.

I’ll be interested to see how much customization there is with the names and numbers. That’ll be pretty damn great though.

I laughed out loud. That is really close to the foul pole in left-centerfield.

Look where the shadow of the ball is... This was from a replay, the PbP was already displayed during the play.

The ball is in mid-flight, it hasn't left the park yet.

Is there any word on how the numbers are applied? I hope it something the game does automatically and that we don't have to add numbers to individual jerseys. That will add a lot of graphics.

The LFer is moving as if the ball is near the foul line. The CFer isn't doing anything as he's not part of the play even as a backup.

Why do people use different players, different lineups, different strategy, development, talent change randomness, and the development lab, but judge the game on whether it produces historical statistics?

This. There is an optical illusion due to when the screenshot was taken making it look like the yellow line will end up in L-CF gap seats.

When one looks at the shadow, as Markus says, and the left fielder it starts to make sense. IE that yellow line, not frozen in a screenshot, is going to move along the same track to LF. Draw an imaginary line down from the end of the yellow line to the shadow of the ball on the field and it puts it in perspective. In motion it will work, frozen it looks off.
