Can't make trade w/o losing 100s of millions

I know someone else posted this but I can't find it. I have a salary cap set for $400,000,000.
As you can see I have 224 million in budget space. But this happens when making a trade. Also included salaries for the next 5 seasons. This should not matter as the cap could change, or I could cut payroll if/when needed. Please explain why this is happening. This is not a real offer, but this happens in any trade I take on money. So please don't get caught up in the offer, just the financials.

And here are the financial setting; Also if it matters this league was started in version 17. I used the cap in the last two seasons I played in 23, without any problems. My current season was started on 24.

Once numbers start reaching that level, it's possible there can be issues of internal overflow. If you go to the Global Settings page, on the bottom right there is a button to adjust the global financial coefficient. If you run that once or twice, what it will do is shift some internal values around. Contracts and budgets and such will be rounded to the 10/100/1000 mark potentially, but if that is what you are running into, that might be the case
