No, "Make it Work," option in Challenge Mode?
In my first time playing in Challenge Mode I've reached my first off season. When attempting to trade a player, I noticed that the option to, "Make it Work," has disappeared. Is this some kind of feature of Challenge Mode or is it a bug. Thank you all.

Did you set your trading mode to "Hard Mode"? That takes away the "Make It Work" button.

No. I never touched any of the settings. "Make it Work," used to be there. I used it several times during the regular season, but now, in the off season, it's gone.

I believe we default challenge mode to the new Hard Mode trading. We are still debating whether that should be the default or not, and whether that should be toggle-able or not... We'll certainly take in feedback either way.

If you offer a trade do you get the equivalent of Make it Work in an email reply? I noticed it's gone now too but if I make an offer remotely close to what I remember being the right formula they usually send a response saying "Close" and include a list of players I can add to make the deal go through or "No way" and offer a different deal. I don't like how it takes a day to get a response though (except in Trading Deadline mode), which can be the difference between that player being traded to someone else or them using their cash on something. I was almost unstoppable with Make it Work though so maybe having something harder will be good.

It may be a bug but I also noticed that in Trading Deadline mode the last segment will say "the deadline has passed" even though you haven't played that day's games yet or gone to the next day. So the responses to your second to last batch of offers are irrelevant because it needs another segment for the other team to get back to you. And the last segment is "deadline has passed."

I checked and "Hard Mode," had been turned on somehow. It's fixed now. Thank you for the heads up dannibalcorpse and to everyone who commented.
