Contract Neg Process for 24 is Outta Sight

Loving what I'm seeing with this in v24 - everything I'd hoped it would be so far.

Just had a player lodge a 1/75 opening gambit for an extension. He's got 2 arb years left, with estimates at the time being around $100k AAV. When I countered with a 4-year deal, he commented along the lines of "If you want some FA years you'll have to pay for them" and indicated that he's looking for about a $140k AAV on that deal, so 4/560k. I countered with a 3+1/530 offer and we dealt at 535k.

So much of an improvement. Hope it's like this throughout.

Just tried the new discuss / decline option for the first time.

Swapped out improve IAFA acquisitions - which goes against a house rule for the save - for improve farm system.

If that's how it works and now all I have to do is achieve that new Goal in place of the other, then once again this is a fantastic improvement.

No doubt the activity for v24 is amped in Year 1. I recommend ticking frequency down one or two from where you want it to be until it settles down a bit. Anecdotal evidence says that happens in Year 2 after the move to 24.
