The (Revised) Old Time League!
In case you don't know, I tried this out once before in a previous post. However the reason I quit that save was because I wanted to do the save on OOTP Go to get the seasons done quicker. So, without further ado, here are the teams for the revised Old Time League:
Federal League: Providence Grays (12 Playoff Appearances, 2 World Series Titles) Chicago Orphans (24 Playoff Appearances, 6 World Series Titles) Cleveland Spiders (14 Playoff Appearances, 2 World Series Titles) Louisville Grays (13 Playoff Appearances, 3 World Series Titles) Hartford Dark Blues (13 Playoff Appearances, 3 World Series Titles) New York Giants (0 Playoff Appearances, 0 World Series Titles) United League: Montreal Expos (9 Playoff Appearances, 3 World Series Titles) Somerset Patriots (9 Playoff Appearances, 3 World Series Titles) Washington Senators (23 Playoff Appearances, 7 World Series Titles) St. Louis Browns (12 Playoff Appearances, 2 World Series Titles) Philadelphia Athletics (1 Playoff Appearance, 0 World Series Titles) Cincinnati Redlegs (22 Playoff Appearances, 7 World Series Titles) In case you didn't realize, I have simulated about 50 years of history for this league. I used to do this on my School Bus and it was really something just to pass the time. I sorted the teams just now by their current record by the All-Star Game. Another reason I wanted to restart the save is because I don't really want to do a Random Debut league. It's been done before. So, I decided that for this edition of the Old Time League, I will be randomly selecting seasons, then seeing who the rookies were in those seasons. For the first randomly selected rookie class, the random number generator gave me 1954. I'll introduce the players next post. |

Every third year, the Draft Classes are going to be fictional. Therefore, the 2062 OTL Draft Class is going to be a Fictional class with no Historical Players.

OTL Expansion:
The Old Time League has announced for the 1962 season that they will expand westward. The first batch of expansion teams is this year, beginning with the Seattle Pilots and Hollywood Stars (Real life former PCL team). Then in 1964, the teams are planned to be the Kansas City Athletics and Vancouver Mounties (Again, another former PCL team). Next up, we'll head to the draft pool announcement. |

1962 OTL Draft:
For any of the Fictional Player drafts, we are only going to be listing the Top 7 draft picks. For whatever reason, OOTP Go Doesn't really generate that many good prospects, so I had to bump up a couple of players potential. 1/1 - Seattle Pilots - CF John Lester - 42 Overall/80 Potential 1/2 - Hollywood Stars - SP Jason Block - 38 Overall/80 Potential 1/3 - Washington Senators - 2B Phil McManus 31 Overall/69 Potential 1/4 - New York Giants - 1B Lance Blackman - 27 Overall/62 Potential 1/5 - Cincinnati Redlegs - SP Peter Wiggins - 40 Overall/65 Potential 1/6 - Chicago Orphans - RF Pat Duty - 34 Overall/51 Potential 1/7 - Louisville Grays - CF Tyler Grover - 42 Overall/51 Potential Next Up: International FA |
