Can player Personalities change?

Tried to do a search, but couldn't find an answer.

I have a young player in the MLB. He is selfish and has a low work ethic. Will he ever change?

Also, another player is unhappy because of selfish players and the one above is the only selfish player on my team.

Yes, recently I saw a guy (draft eligible) go from "Low" to "Normal" Work Ethic

Is it a frequent occurrence? Probably not. And I imagine most changes come early in a players career. But if you're lucky, personalities can improve. Of course, they can also get worse, so it works both ways

The really depressing thing, which I’m sure OOTP has not included in the game, is that traits should have the possibility to move, probably towards the worst in most cases, whenever a player suffers a concussion (we’ll it’d need to be a head injury since the game doesn’t distinguish).

Just to reinforce this, yes, they can change, but they don't change fast. These ratings are on a 1-200 scale and the thresholds are 60 and 140. So if a player starts at 59 it won't take much to get above 60, but it will take quite awhile, if it ever does, to get above 140. So while you can hope for a low to medium or high to medium, you probably won't ever see from low to high or high to low, except maybe over a long career.

I like that. It seems to follow real life. I've never met anyone IRL who went from one extreme to another trait-wise in a relatively short time (except for a family member who suffered a brain injury). We all have good and bad days of course, but if personality traits noticeably change, they usually take quite awhile to do so.

can you track overtime players work ethic ratings? No?
When you play historical can you randomize the personality ratings? No?
You mean it is the same each time you import? Yes?

You sure about that?

Clearly not the same each time...

Does anyone know which attributes yield particular personalities? I tried to make my 42-year-old an Fan Fav to deter myself from letting him go, but changing the attributes I thought might matter didn't.

While we're at it, does anyone know how much Fan Favs affect attendance?

I once saw a veteran change from Captain to Sparkplug. DK why or even how quickly I noticed, but unfun since I find it hard to maintain even one Captain on my MLB team, even as a bench player.

For the minors it is easier. I routinely hire any FA Captain even if they are ****. so at any time I usually have one for each team plus a spare or two. AFAIK doesn't matter if they don't play.
