AI Game Engine Logic in TG legs
I noticed something odd in my playoff game. I'm playing a two-leg total goal series, and I was up 2-0 using the 3D engine near the end of the game (final minute). Well, the opposing team pulled their goalie, which allowed me an empty-netter that made it 3-0, a much harder hole to get out of compared to 2-0. In real life, it seems to me any smart opposing coach would just hope to stay two goals down and make it up the second leg, rather than risk going down 3. idk, what do you all think?

As a follow-up, suppose there is a 20% chance of scoring when adding the extra man from pulling the goalie (that's probably high). Suppose also that the chances of winning the next game by at least two goals is 30% (seems reasonable enough, but admittedly I'm pulling these numbers from my own imagination). That right there is incentive enough to sit on that extra attacker idea and hope you just win by two or more the next game.

Yeah, the in-game logic isn't good at handling unusual contexts like a total-goals series. I'll take a look at how we can improve that, it's going to be needed a little more in 10.
