Have a question looking for coaches if relationships are fair or worse, especially with top players. if you can't find one that fits is it better to just leave vacant until one comes along. and how often is the pool changed only with firings and hirings or do new coaches appear at random times.

It's better to have a manager or coach than have nothing. Still look for the best you can get.

The pool is updated daily in the game with firings, hirings, and new labor additions.

Also, some consider this a cheat, but i routinely look for older players at the end of their playing careers, and then retire them and change them to coaches. They will of course haves zero experience, but frequently they turn out okay. And it does create a larger pool of potential prospects - while eliminating a bunch of fringe older guys with high salary expectations, that no team wants as a player.

Pelican, can you talk through the actual game process of "converting" an older player to a coach? I have never even remembered to do it although I know it can be done. I am curious, as I like the coaching system enough as it stands.
Thanks.
