Amateur Draft in historic Leagues

I've been starting my saves in the current year (2023) and everything runs smoothly.

Today I started my first historic save (1984 start).

For the third year in a row (starting with OOTPB 22, then 23), the amateur draft is full of players from 24 to 26 years of age. These older players are all one and done in college.

This only happens during historic saves.

I know other players have had this issue in previous versions. I probably posted about it in here for the last two years but never received a fix. I tried copying my game files and sending them in as a bug report but the link to do so isn't working for me.

I hoped a setting would be added that would allow me to set the maximum age for players who enter the amateur draft, but as far as I know such a setting isn't available.

Any way I can fix this?
