Advancing Past Current Season

I'm completely new to FHM, but a loyal OOTP player. My question for FHM is if I start a 2022-2023 season on FHM9, would I be able to progress to future season with updated versions of the game? For example, would I be able to advance to the 2023-2024 season in FHM10 with real rookies (such as Bedard, etc.) continuing with the season I started in FHM9?

If this is confusing, I can try to explain it better. Thanks!

Kind of, you can always import saves from the previous games to the newer versions but sometimes not everything works 100%.
