Full Screen Mode Mouse Sticks / Slow

I just got a new Alienware monitor, same resolution as last but the refresh rate is much higher on the new monitor - 500hrz. Now when I launch the game the mouse sticks and is slow in full screen mode. But it works fine in window mode. Any suggestions to get full screen to work?

This isn't going to be the answer you're actually looking for, but it may be enough to tide you over until you find a solution.

It's a little tiny app that will turn a windowed application into a "fullscreen borderless windowed" application. Works amazing for OOTP. I run multi-monitor and it lets me have OOTP running "fullscreen", while still being able to use the browser on the 2nd monitor without OOTP minimizing to task switch.

On this note for Devs, full screen borderless window should be an option in the game anyway. We're a bunch of old guy nerds that like to multi-task anyway, it should be the default option.

I'm more interested in the "Things I'd wish I'd known" bookmark than the others, don't worry . Though to be fair, I had been thinking about popping open skyrim again at some time, it has been a little bit.

I do very much agree and hope that borderless fullscreen gets added, it's my biggest thing on my wishlist. I had a similar program as to mentioned above but it would unfortunately offset the mouse click location in OOTP for some reason. Perhaps this one will work better.

That one is for Dragon Age Origins.

So far I've had no issues of any kind, been using it for a couple of months now.

Are you using Windows scaling?

I think this is a Windows issue, not so much an OOTP issue, but I'm also not sure that turning scaling on or off would necessarily help. Scaling *definitely* impacts a lot of users with lower resolution displays and the only real answer is to run in fullscreen mode where Windows doesn't go in and increase the size of all your fonts.

I was having issues w/ that slow accumulation of 'lagged' play (you can reset by restarting the game or just going to settings and clicking "OK") with 3840x2160 and scaling set to 150%. It ceased after I just set my desktop to 3840x2160 w/ no scaling.
