Looking For Beta Testers For OOTP25

Hi all,

We're very happy to extend an invitation to more of our fans to be a part of an exciting opportunity – the OOTP Beta Testing Team.

We're looking for folks who are passionate about both OOTP and baseball and are willing to help us to make the game better, both this year and in the future.

Those who are accepted to the team will have the opportunity to:

-Play the new version of OOTP before anyone else.
-Connect more closely with the OOTP Development team.
-Provide valuable feedback and suggestions to help us improve the game.
-Help us uncover and fix any potential bugs or issues before release, to have the game be as smooth as possible by release.

There's no specific hour or other requirement for a tester, but we do just ask that you be able to devote a reasonable amount of time and energy, both to playing the game and also to providing as much feedback as possible on bugs and issues through our forum based bug tracking system.


How to apply:

If you're interested in applying to become an OOTP Beta Tester, please follow these steps:

Complete the registration form, and be sure to provide us with as much information as possible on your background with OOTP and baseball, the areas of the game that especially interest you, and why you think you'd make a good tester.

We'll let you know as soon as possible after receiving your application if you've been accepted (hopefully within a couple weeks, depending on the amount of applications we receive and how quickly we can process them).

If you're accepted, we'll then send you more information on getting started.
Unfortunately we won't be able to accept everyone who replies, as we only have limited slots on the team available, so please don't feel badly if you aren't selected initially. We'll continue to add to the team over time, and will be happy to periodically reconsider any applications that aren't initially accepted.
We'll prioritize adding folks who have a history of constructive contributions on the current OOTP community sites (forums and Discord), but we'll consider everyone, so don't hold back from applying even if that's not the case.

Thank you all for being an integral part of the OOTP community. Your passion and dedication really helps to encourage us to do all we can to continue to improve the game.

Hey all,

Just wanted to say thanks for all the applications we've received so far! Some very promising ones included.

We're excited to start getting folks on board! We'll start getting in touch with you all early next week and work through the process of getting those who have been accepted up and running.

If you haven't applied yet, no worries, we'll still keep the applications open for a while longer.
