Can you find out past trades?
My teams and others'.
In my 1924 replay the Tigers managed to trade for Bob Meusel. I would love to know what they paid. |

Under league reports, look for trades in the All Transactions report.
Another way is to go to the player's history and find the trade. |

It will be on the League Trade Log, but easiest way to find that info is look at the player history.
Open his profile page by clicking on his name. Select the "History" option along the top. The select the "general" tab along the bottom to narrow the history down. |

Should be listed in the history section of his player page along with links to all players in the deal. As long as you know a player's name you should be able to search for him and always find this information on the player's page.
Also under Global Settings is Auto Save and Log Settings. Here you can set how long you want to retain the transaction logs. Last 2 yrs., 10 yrs., or All. If you've selected "all" you should see all trades here.. MLB>MLB Transactions>Trade Log I'm in 2044 and my list goes back to 2025. Either the first year they allowed one to save all logs, or when I decided to turn on the option. FWIW my game stared in 2003 and I play out every inning of every game, including sprint training. I don't do an almanac so not sure what it saves, but would expect transactions from every year are there too in case you don't save all transactions in your game. |

Is there any way to filter the transaction logs in game? Most websites that track this information in real life allow you to filter on things like

Ie there is a field called "transactions" (shows on player card's "acquired" line) and one called "transaction date" where "trade" is one of the options. So you could build a filter and sort it by year based on trade. Or any of the other "how acquired" options. There are 14 options. Not sure if/how these work for coaches, executives, etc. Mabye under the coach search area? Best thing is to look through all of the fields in popup box for building views and see what you can cobble together. |

Later noticed that NYY traded Babe Ruth too (for 6 players).
Since there are certain "franchise" players that would never be traded, it would be appropriate if the AI's evaluations of player value included a large bonus for local popularity. |
